Brexit Sentiment is an interactive experiment using sentiment, emotion, and subjects from current news articles. We chose to track Brexit to see if editorial writing styles influence the country’s feelings towards the EU. Can a text analysis engine reveal hidden sentiment, subjects, and emotion in today’s news stories?
The site updated automatically every hour, collecting the latest Brexit news stories from Google News and then running each of them through IBM’s text analysis engine Alchemy. The site presents the results for you to explore.
